| BEAUTIFUL ORIGAMI MADE FOR US BY MEMBERS |
Dearest Family,
I love you all so much! First of all, Happy Fathers Day Dad!!!!!!!! I can't believe how fast this week went by. It was literally the fastest week I have had as a missionary. And I can't believe Thursday is my year mark... so scary! But I am definitely using it as an excuse to buy Baskin Robbins ice-cream. This was another good week, in the same good area with my new companion Sister Glauser. I adore Sister Glauser! She is from Utah and we are about the same age. I love the people here!
I was sad when I had to say goodbye to Sister Jacobson at transfers Wednesday, and definitely cried a little bit. We became good friends and now she is in Suwon and I am in the same area for another 6 weeks and maybe even more. It was sad, but I have a new companion who I already love. On transfers I talked with my old companion Sister Kim who left my greenie ward in Suwon, and I found out that 2 less active members and their children have been reactivated!!!!!!!!. I screamed for happiness when I heard that news. Oh how happy it made my soul hearing that two families that I loved so much were reactivated. Fewer things here have made me happier.
It is such a blessing to see the spirit work in the lives of the people that we teach. I am so grateful that we have that gift of the spirit to lead and guide us in our everyday lives. It is just the greatest blessing.
This past week was a lot like last week. We are seeing the fruits of all our proselyting and our efforts to work with the members and get to know them better. These ward members are incredible! When we visit them they are so patient with my Korean. We visit one member in particular and she always uses simple Korean and is willing to explain what a word is if I don't understand. I have developed such great love for these members. I didn't think I could love people as much as I love our investigators and our ward members.
On Friday night we went to a traditional Korean music concert with the Elder’s investigator and his wife. We got it approved and we had the chance to meet with his wife more. They are a really special couple. It was a great experience.
Last week was such a good week! This week is going to be a great week too, I just know it! Today we are going to a store where I am buying real cheese :) I am so excited! I love you all with all of my heart and Seoul! Thanks for all you do! I hope you have a wonderful week!
Love,
Goodnough 자매
