Dearest Family! <3
안녕하세요!!! How are all of you? Thank you for your letters and emails. They make my days!
The MTC is still great. Last week was one of the best weeks here! I will start with the spiritual things and then end with all of the funny things that happened. Saturday we had a lesson about the gifts of the spirit. We read Moroni chapter 10 verses 7 through 18. As missionaries, we are set apart and given the gifts of the spirit. We are also given certain gifts in our patriarchal blessings. I felt impressed to study mine more in depth. Sunday morning I woke up and read through my blessing and made a list of the promises and blessings given me and then I read about those gifts in Moroni and in the scriptures associated with those gifts. It was such a great experience being taught by the spirit as I was led and guided to scripture passages. One that stood out to me the most was D&C 138:56. Mom, I know that you were inspired to share that scripture with me in your Dear Elder letter. When the scripture says "spirits.. were prepared to come forth in due time of the Lord to labor in his vineyard for the salvation of the souls of men" I thought about Anna and her excitement to serve a mission. The best thing for me about going on a mission is that Anna is so excited to serve when the time comes. I also thought about how we are the great and noble ones. It is no coincidence that Moses Chapter 1 is my favorite chapter in all of scripture. And it is no coincidence that I found and studied those scriptures when I did. I feel so strongly of my Saviors love for me. I hope I can strive daily to study my scriptures and strive daily to have the spirit with me.
Tuesday I watched a really fantastic Mormon Message while in the gym. I watched "Rescued Through Christ," which is about a guy who rescues birds and the atonement. There was an injured owl that many animal rescuers wanted to put down, but the man in the video decided to amputate its wing instead so it could live. He said, "I'm glad that when I was an idiot nobody put me down." Then it talks about the atonement. I like how it says, "I've let him down many a time, but he's never let me down." It was so powerful to me. When we have any extra time we all watch Mormon Messages. I looked up the Zion's Youth Bloom Where You're Planted video and I saw Anna in it! I had flashbacks from the years I was able to participate in Zion's Youth, and I am so grateful for that experience. This afternoon Sister Hales and I are going to go check out violins and some sheet music. We might do a duet for our branch sacrament meeting next week.
Thursday I taught a lesson without using my notes. I taught it in straight Korean and I was so proud of myself. It was one of the coolest experiences ever! I can't adequately express how happy I was. I am starting to come to recognize what the gift of tongues feels like. I know Heavenly Father is blessing me. Miracles truly happen here in the MTC. It is insane thinking that in 4ish weeks I am going to be in Seoul. Time flies so quickly here.
I can't wait to eat real Korean food. Seriously. I'm starting to crave kimchi. Yesterday in the bathroom a sister looked at my name tag and asked me so excitedly and so hopefully, "Is your last name really Good Enough?!" Yes. The Goodnough family is Good to know and Good enough.
Please thank Christian, Amanda, Sister Mecham, and Grandma Julie for their letters! Also, please thank Grandma Julie for the doughnuts. It was so kind of her! I loved them.
I love you all with all of my heart and soul. I am excited that in a couple weeks I will get to call you from the airport! I hope you all have a wonderful day, and thank you for your love, support, and prayers. They mean the world to me.

<3 Goodnough 자매
I remember sitting in my first Sacrament meeting in the Goldcrest ward, with my first program, looking at the leader names on the back, and leaning over to Woody and Chelsea and said, "Look...our Bishop IS Good 'nough"...I was SURE I was the only one in the world to come up with that, hahaha But as I found out, your whole family is MORE, MUCH MUCH MORE than good enough! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your posts, and ma so proud of you, Melissa!–sis. potter
