Dearest Family,
I love you all with all of my heart and Seoul. Last week was a good week. Nothing too exciting, just the same things we do every week, but it was still a good week. :) The weather is warming up and spring is coming slowly but surely. We had a zone conference last week and it was incredible. It was the best zone conference I have ever attended. President and Sister Morrise talked about faith and trust and how it relates to missionary work. We have faith in God, and God trusts us, his missionaries. Sister Morrise shared a quote from Elder Oaks about building a reservoir of faith. I have read the Book of Mormon several times already out here in Korea, but now I am reading it again with a new copy and highlighting verses that talk about faith. Already within reading just the first 6 chapters, I have learned so much. I have always wanted to do that, but have just not taken the time to do so. I learn so much and I learn something new every time I read the Book of Mormon. I didn't think that it was possible, but it is possible, no matter how many times you read it. The primary children had an activity where they made cakes, and decorated them. We just thought they were going to have fun making cakes, but what we didn't realize was that they made them for the missionaries. It was so sweet! It made me think of when I was a primary teacher, and how much I loved those kids. There is something so special about primary children. They are humble, meek, and their faith is so strong. I just love those sweet children. I thought of the primary program last year when they sang I am a Child of God in spanish, and how I thought about what it would be like to hear that song in Korean. I heard the primary children sing it on Sunday, and it was a sweet moment, hearing those precious children testify of one of the greatest and most
powerful truths.
Last week was very like other weeks. Every day I study the scriptures, study Korean, sometimes teach a lesson, and talk with people on the street. I do the same things each day, but as I do those same things each day, miracles happen, hearts are softened, testimonies are strengthened, and through small and simple things great things are brought to pass. I am so grateful that I can be a missionary here in Korea. It is the most incredible experience, and I absolutely love it! I am good. I am healthy. I am happy. I love you all with all of my heart!
She is so beautiful and SO amazing! What a beautiful child of God! I love her!
