Miraculous Week

Dearest Family,

Last week was miraculous. I could write about each one of our new investigators, but I will just sum it up as this. We found 4 new investigators. 4! Most weeks we have a hard time finding even 1 new investigator, so this week was definitely miraculous. The greatest part is that they called not because they only want to learn English, but they want to learn about the church too. We were able to teach some really good lessons, but I know that it was really the spirit who was teaching. Yes, we worked hard to find the people to teach, but I by myself cannot do anything. It is the spirit who confirms what we teach and who touches the heart of our investigators. I am continuously grateful that Heavenly Father works through small and simple things. It makes me so happy that all of these incredible teaching opportunities are arising, and it makes me beyond happy that I can share the gospel with these wonderful Koreans. I love them so much, and I love missionary work so much.

This week I read a lot of the book of Joshua. Joshua was obedient to the commandments and he did as Heavenly Father commanded him to do. He had the promise that Heavenly Father would help him and that Joshua would be able to conquer all the surrounding cities. Through obedience and through hearkening to the will of God, Joshua was victorious. I love the part where it talks about how Joshua commanded the sun to stay in position and the sun stayed there for about a day, so that they were able to be successful. My favorite part is where it says that "God fought for Israel." I felt like God was "fighting for [me, and for missionary work]" last week. I know that God will fight for us as we strive to do the things that are right and as we do our best each and every day. We still fall short, but when we are doing our best I know Heavenly Father will fight for us.

Everything else that I did last week is similar to the week before, and the week before that, and I love it! I love you all with all of my heart and Seoul! You are the greatest family in the entire universe and I am so grateful for all of you. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Your prayers and love can be felt all the way in Seoul. I hope all is well. I am healthy and happy. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Love,

Goodnough 자매
