Dearest Family,
I love you all so much! Seriously, I am the luckiest girl in the entire universe because you are my family.
Anyways, this week was crazy! We did companion exchanges this week and
for a day I was with a new companion. I was told that on companion exchanges
miracles happen. I prayed extra hard to see the hand of God in my life that day. We were talking with a sister and her friend that had been found through street contacting. She was so interested in hearing more and... I gave away my first Book of Mormon! I have tried to give one away for the longest time, and finally, someone I talked to really wanted to know more and really wanted to read it. It made me so happy that someone else could have that wonderful book. Truly it was a miracle. That same night we taught another lesson. She prayed for the first time and asked us how to pray, because she told us that it was something that she desired. The spirit was so strong as we were teaching and I know that it wasn't
anything that we said that touched her, but it was the spirit.
Tuesday we had a mission tour where Elder Ringwood and his wife came
to speak to us. His wife is Neal A Maxwell's daughter. She talked a lot about PMG Chapter 6 about developing Christ like attributes and how imperative it is to have those attributes as missionaries especially. I decided that I want to study that chapter more and am
going to pick an attribute to develop for each transfer. I have 10 transfers left, so I will have an attribute for every transfer. This transfer I am working on patience. Patience with myself and patience with others. I was able to see Sister DeBuse, Sister Hales, Elder Breinholt, Elder Williamson, and Elder Miller from my MTC district too, which was great! I always enjoy seeing missionaries from the MTC that I know.
We went to our mission leaders home Monday night for Family Home Evening and I am grateful that he takes interest in the welfare of the missionaries.
We went hiking today and it was beautiful! I will send pictures. We were hiking in skirts... and I felt very strange. It was funny hearing people comment on what we were hiking in, but once we got to a really steep part we decided it would be best to go back. Still, it was super fun!
I love you all so much and I am praying for you. I don't need anything and I am taking care of myself. Thank you so much for your emails and for your support. I love reading your emails every week. I love you I love you I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3
Love, Goodnough 자매
