"Get to Work"

Dearest Family,

I love you all so much!! Thanks for the emails and prayers and for
everything.  I am good and I am happy to be here!

The language here is so hard. Yesterday, was just hard. I thought about President Hinckley and about what his dad told him on his mission "Get to work." Last night we proselyted the most that we have ever done until that point. We had about two hours before our dinner appointment so we took a bus to their apartment and walked all around that area and talked with many more people. When I am working it is easier for me to not worry about my lack of
language abilities. I know that I just need to forget myself and get lost in missionary work.

Anyways, this week we did a ton of traveling to the mission office and we went to the
Temple in Seoul Thursday! Tuesday, my companion had training since she
is the sister training leader and Suwon is about 2 hours away from the mission home so we traveled there Monday night and stayed the night there. It felt weird sleeping on a bed! The floor mats are comfortable and I am used to sleeping on them now, so a fluffy bed just feels
weird. While my companion was in the training meeting, some of the other sisters in this mission were also there waiting for their companions so we had the chance to proselyte in a different area. It was cool seeing how different people do proselytizing. I also got to
see two of the sisters from my MTC district, it was great to see them!

We also went to the mission home Wednesday night to go to the temple Thursday! My camera died as I was about to get a picture, so next time I go to the temple I will take a
picture. The roads remind me of pictures I have seen of San Francisco with all the hills. The temple is beautiful, and I am so happy I was able to go there. It was such a wonderful experience, and I loved the peace and comfort that I felt there.

We had dinner with the elders and a couple from our ward last night and they fed us tacos! After, we ate whole dried fishes. They are Japanese, but they are fluent in English and one of them is fluent in Korean too. I'm grateful for their kindness. We gave a lesson and  3 different languages were spoken, it was the coolest thing. Truth is truth no matter what
language is being spoken. It was comforting to me and a reminder that it is the spirit that teaches, not us.

We had a really great lesson with a sister about prayer. She said the sweetest prayer. The spirit that was in the room was so strong. It was the best lesson I have been privileged enough to take part in.

I love you all so much. I hope you are all doing well!!! You are all so wonderful! I am so honored to have you as my family.

Love you with all of my heart!

Goodnough 자매
